Master director Guiseppe Tornatore pays tribute to his friend and companion Morrcione with a magisterial cinematic homage. In "Ennio Morricone - Il Maestro", the world-famous classically trained composer from Rome whimsically tells of his multifaceted passion for music and provides insights into his eventful life. Companions such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Quentin Tarantino, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Springsteen or Zucchero have their say. Over the course of five years, Giuseppe Tornatore selected, arranged and choreographed sequences from films and live concerts with Morricone creations. The result is a complete work of art lasting over two hours: no image, no sound is too much to honour a great film artist.
